Nails 101 - Basic Home Manicure

Basic Home Manicure

Hi Felines! Welcome to my Basic Claws Manicure Tutorial.

It's always nice to have clean nails, whether you will have it painted or not.
The whole process takes about 30 mins. You may struggle and take longer time in the beginning but don't stop practicing. It's all about practicing and you can save loads, Loads of Money!

Here's what you need:
  1. Cuticle pusher ( Metal/wooden your preference )
  2. Cuticle clipper
  3. Filer ( Hard/soft your preference )
  4. Buffer
  5. Vaseline
  6. Dry hand towel
  7. A bowl of warm water

Start the process using your right hand to service your left hand (or vice versa if your left-handed)

Prepare your nails by dipping left hand in warm water for 5mins. This process softens your cuticle.
Step 1 - Pat dry your hand. Using a cuticle pusher and gently push your cuticles back. Start from one corner and work your way round.
Step 2 - Cut away your cuticle using cuticle cutter. Due to pre dipping hands in warm water, cuticles should be easy to cut away. Avoid going too deep into cuticle!
Step 3 - Wipe nails dry and apply Vaseline to entire nail bed and cuticle. Leave it on. Now you can start preparing the other hand and repeat Step 1-3.
Step 4 - Cut nail to desired length and shape. Using your filer to file into shape and smooth out your nail edge.
Step 5 - Buffer entire nail bed. This process smoothes your nail bed for a nice finishing.
Step 6 - Wash your hands with water, cleaning each nail and VoilĂ !
